Geological condition and topography structure of PT. Pelita Sejati Pancawira Kusuma coal mine allows for Open Pit exploitation with low stripping ratio. Combined with a relatively short distance between our mine to loading port provides us with the capability for hgh capacity production.
Our mine is located around Latitude S 3o 41′ 00″ and Longitude E 115o 25 ‘ 00″.
Loading Port
Our loading port, located 15 km from mine site, also houses our crushing plant and our stock yard. It is located alongside Satui River. This is where our coal awaits shipment. Our loading port can accommodate barges of size up to 270 ft long with loads up to 6,000 metric tons.
For export shipment, Muara Satui (situated 10 nautical miles from our loading port) provides anchorage point for vessels of sizes 40,000 to 60,000 metric tons. We will utilize tug & barges to transport the coal from loading port to the vessel.
Our mine is producing 60,000 metric tons monthly. Monthly production capacity is to be increased to 120,000 metric tons the following year. Due to the vast amount of coal deposit we possess, we have no constraint in increasing our production capacity
